The Institute was founded in 1951. It is a leading scientific - technological and designing center in the field of development and introduction of technique and equipment for special casting methods, it has at its disposal a highly qualified staff of designers and process engineers, a laboratory base and the plant manufacturing the foundry equipment and casting. Development works of the Institute have been introduced at many enterprises of Ukraine, countries of the CIS and other foreign countries. Successes in new types of the modern equipment development and progressive techniques for producing precise castings of high quality by special casting methods are marked by five State premiums, premiums of the Ministers Council of the USSR, and also by diplomas of the international and domestic exhibitions.

Over the years of its history the enterprise has not changed the profile and consequently it has kept the worked out and tested by the time techniques, stable manufacture and a highly qualified staff. The listed factors have promoted successful execution of individual orderings on manufacture of foundry equipment and casting.
